The Investigation Into 417 West Chew Avenue | Part 1

In this episode of Crime Bit with Danelle Hallan, Part 1 follows how a random encounter in Philadelphia leads police to 417 West Chew Avenue. What starts with a woman using missing person Blair Tonzelli’s identity, drugs, loaded guns, fake federal badges, and Eugene Horsch’s arrest quickly becomes Blair’s disappearance and her ties to Eugene’s father, Raymond. A weeks-long search of the boarded-up house then uncovers chemicals, a 55-gallon drum, unusual plumbing, zip ties, a disturbing handwritten letter, and dozens of hard drives containing hundreds of thousands of files.
