Obsession Turned to Murder in a Quiet Ohio Neighborhood

Monique and Spencer Tepe were shot to death in their Columbus, Ohio home before dawn on December 30, 2025, while their two young children slept just down the hall. In this episode of Night Watch , Katie Ring examines the investigation that followed — one marked by surveillance footage, license plate data, and movements that stretched across state lines. Prosecutors allege Monique’s ex-husband, Michael McKee, carried out a calculated, premeditated attack. He has pleaded not guilty. Beneath the quiet neighborhood headlines is a case built on timing, digital gaps, and the question of whether the evidence tells a complete story.
