Episode 1013: The real CSI - behind the doors of Ireland's forensic lab

Trace evidence left behind at murder scenes, complex chemistry used by drug gangs to disguise illegal drugs, and even investigations of poison pen letters are the stock and trade of a group of Ireland’s finest scientists at the new high-tech Forensic Science Ireland laboratories outside Dublin. This week, Nicola paid a visit to where all the magic happens in preparation for a free FSI event to be held next week at the National Convention Centre when members of the public can step inside the world of forensic investigators. Nicola tells Niall Donald about a privileged visit to FSI and the people she met there. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
