Episode 743: Peter 'Fatso' Mitchell released from UK prison following EncroChat hack cocaine conviction

Veteran criminal Peter 'Fatso' Mitchell who was once part of John Gilligan’s was caught up in the 2020 EncroChat hack when he was found to be transporting cocaine into Wales. But four years on and despite receiving a 10-year sentence in 2022 he has walked free from prison. Overcrowding, under-resourcing and too many criminals nabbed as part of the hack are partly to blame for the UK’s revolving prison door. Nicola speaks to Niall Donald about the life and Crimes of Fatso Mitchell and what he is likely to do next. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
