2PM: Brewers’ Comeback Magic, Kyle Leaves Early & Badgers Need to Prove It

The 2PM hour of Kyle & Brust reacts to an unforgettable Brewers comeback against the Cubs, as Jackson Chourio delivered the game-tying home run before 21-year-old Luis Lara walked it off in the 10th. Unfortunately, Kyle Wallace wasn’t there to see any of it. Ben and the K&B Fam roast Kyle for leaving American Family Field in the fifth inning because his wife was tired and hungry, sparking a debate over when it’s actually acceptable to leave a game early. Plus, Badgers play-by-play voice Matt Lepay joins the show to put Wisconsin’s loss to Notre Dame into perspective. Lepay explains why the Badgers need to prove they can turn 30 good minutes into 60, finish games against teams in their own weight class and overcome the mental hurdle that has allowed mistakes to snowball. The guys also explain why the Brewers’ comeback, powered by Chourio and Lara, was another perfect example of the resilience and confidence that has defined Pat Murphy’s team.
