2PM: Brewers Four-Peat! Is It World Series or Bust & Did the Packers Break Kyle?

The 2PM hour of Kyle & Brust celebrates history as the Brewers clinch their fourth consecutive NL Central championship, becoming the first team ever to win four straight in the division. But Kyle Wallace is already looking toward October and says simply winning another division title isn’t enough anymore. The guys debate whether this season can truly be considered a success without Milwaukee reaching its first World Series since 1982 and whether the Brewers have enough starting pitching to finish the job. Meanwhile, the Packers’ collapse has apparently broken Kyle. He tells the story of becoming convinced there was a mouse in his basement, paying an exterminator $110 and then learning that his supposed evidence of a rodent might not have been evidence at all. Kyle’s wife now thinks the Packers have driven him crazy, while Ben wonders what happens to his co-host if Green Bay actually loses to the Jets. Plus, Matt Lepay joins the show to explain why the Badgers’ best football has been encouraging but far too inconsistent, why Wisconsin needs meaningful wins to bring the energy back to Camp Randall and why Brewers fans shouldn’t take this historic run for granted.
