5P: Polls, Pennant Races and New Beginnings

This hour covers some of Wisconsin's biggest conversations, from politics to baseball to a heartwarming local story. The 5 at 5 breaks down new Marquette Law School Poll results showing a tight governor's race between David Crowley and Tom Tiffany, including how Tiffany's recent plane crash may have affected voter perceptions. The conversation then shifts to the Brewers' postseason outlook, with a look at the Padres-Cubs series and how Milwaukee's path through October is beginning to take shape. The hour also examines a bizarre Oconomowoc case involving gunfire allegedly sparked by a dispute over missing cats. Finally, Racine Fire Division Chief Joshua Weber discusses the safe surrender of a newborn baby girl through the city's Safe Haven Baby Box, explaining how the program works and how it provides a safe option for infants and parents in crisis.
