About this episode

Season Two begins the morning of October 25, 2014, the day after the chaos and the murders of Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Investigator Michael Davis, Jr. by Luis Bracamontes. Although the killer was captured the struggle had only begun. This episode includes a portion of the interview with Deputy Scott Brown’s son, Connor Brown. He looks back about ten years to the incident and gives insight into the dynamic of a police family when tragedy strikes. CONTENT ADVISORY: This podcast contains intense recreations of violent criminal behavior that may trigger those who have had previous trauma and disturb those that have not. Strong and offensive language is used throughout the podcast as well. Listener discretion is advised. We encourage listeners to also read the book, Facing Evil: A Cop’s Story of Murder, Mayhem, and the Aftermath, which can be found on Amazon .
