The Fifth Hour: Baby Shower Benny

Ben returns to the audio dojo on the Fourth of July and explains how he was drafted—against his better judgment—into attending a baby shower in the Southern California town made famous by a beloved 1980s cult classic. What begins as social exile turns into an unexpected excellent adventure as he discovers common ground with complete strangers... before being rescued by smoke. Plus, Ben celebrates Independence Day by diving into random patriotic trivia involving George Washington, the Liberty Bell, hidden messages, forgotten dates, and Americans with split allegiances. It's history with extra hot sauce. And according to Alf and Ferg Dog, this episode is better than burgers, hot dogs, fireworks, and potato salad combined... unless it's not.
