Event Horizon (1997) & Pandorum (2009): Terror in Deep Space

The Horror of Deep Space In this episode of Journey Through Sci-Fi , we're joined by Mike Muncer from The Evolution of Horror podcast to explore the terrifying side of the space subgenre. First we discuss Event Horizon (1997) , the cult sci-fi horror film about a rescue mission to a spaceship that may have travelled somewhere far worse than deep space. Then we look at Pandorum (2009) , a psychological sci-fi thriller about astronauts waking aboard a mysterious ship with no memory of their mission. Together these films show how space can be just as frightening as it is awe-inspiring. Journey Through Sci-Fi explores the history of science-fiction cinema one subgenre at a time . Follow the show for deep dives into sci-fi classics, cult favourites and the ideas that shaped the genre. CONTAINS FILM SPOILERS Visit our website https://www.journeythroughscifi.com/ Email Us!
