Join MPW Digital football expert Pete DeWeese and 247Sports’ Neal McCready for a look each week at Ole Miss’ opponent as the Rebels go through the 2025 football season. This week, the sixth-ranked Rebels head to Glendale, Ariz., for the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl versus No. 10 Miami. The winner of the clash between the Rebels (13-1) and the Hurricanes (12-2) will earn a date in the CFP National Championship Game Jan. 19 versus either Indiana or Oregon in Miami Gardens, Fla. This week, DeWeese looks back on Ole Miss’ brilliant Sugar Bowl win over Georgia and then turns his attention to Mario Cristobal’s Miami team, one known for its ability to run the football and pressure the opposing quarterback.
