The DARK INTIMACY of A Narcissist

Traditionally covert narcissists are thought to lack the ability to be intimate due to the effective blocking of their narcissism to any perceived vulnerability a quality necessary for intimacy to occur. However, this podcast challenges the traditional theory of loving intimacy with a dark version of an entrapment style shared dark intimacy, between narcissist and their target. Understanding this dynamic can be very helpful in healing once the relationship with a narcissist has entered the discard phase of the narcissist’s behaviour cycle.
