Nuanez Now January 9, 2026 - Hour 2 - CWDKS, Dave Rathgaber

Colter Nuanez is joined by fan-favorite CWDKS after a month-long hiatus for an episode filled with sports gossip, bold opinions, and must-hear takes. The conversation breaks down Montana State’s FCS National Championship run, including CWDKS’s firsthand experience of the Cat–Griz rivalry at the “Super Brawl.” They also discuss the disappointing—but not surprising—wave of Cats players entering the transfer portal after winning it all, share the latest news surrounding Matt Kalil, and cover plenty more from across the sports landscape. (2:58) Later in the show, Geoff Safford hops on the mic with Montana Tech Hockey head coach Dave Rathgaber to preview the upcoming Montana Cup at Steed Arena in Helena. Dave reflects on his team’s season so far and shares his expectations as the Orediggers prepare for one of the biggest hockey events in the state. (33:28)
