Dimension X presents “Requiem,” episode 49, originally broadcast on NBC on September 22, 1951. Adapted for radio by Ernest Kinoy from Robert A. Heinlein’s short story, it stars Rod Hendrickson as determined industrialist D. D. Harriman, with Bill Quinn and Owen Jordan. In a future where commercial trips to the Moon have become possible, Harriman finds an aging rocket crew exhibiting their craft at a fairground. Barred from ordinary lunar travel by medical regulations, the wealthy dreamer seeks another way to make the journey he has wanted all his life.
