Dimension X - "To the Future" (1950)

Dimension X presents “To the Future,” episode 8, originally broadcast on NBC on May 27, 1950. This sustaining drama adapts Ray Bradbury’s “The Fox and the Forest,” with radio adaptation by Ernest Kinoy and starring John Larkin and Jan Miner. William and Susan Travis flee the war-ravaged authoritarian world of 2155 for the seeming safety of mid-century Mexico. But as they try to vanish into a more carefree era, searchers from the future close in. Directed by Edward King, this tense time-travel tale contrasts Acapulco’s inviting refuge with the menace of the world the couple left behind. Old Time Sci-Fi Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
