Pope In, Botman Pending, What Next?

Taylor Payne hosts your go-to Newcastle United podcast from The Athletic with club correspondent Chris Waugh and Burnley writer Andy Jones. Goalkeeper Nick Pope has been signed from The Clarets after their Premier League relegation and it looks like a bargain fee for an England international. The club could round off their defensive incomings with Lille centre-half, and long-time target Sven Botman, who had a medical at Longbenton on Monday afternoon. We asked The Athletic's Newcastle subscribers what position they'd like to see filled next and they responded with a united voice. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
