The Wire Is Worth Stealing

Lars Olson reflects on an electrician forced to buy the same spool of copper wire twice after thieves stole it from a job site. In this Quiet Echo episode, he explores rising copper prices, hidden costs, and how everyday workers often bear the burden of changes far beyond their control. Quiet Echo is part of the fictional Cedar Valley News series, where national issues are explored through the lens of a small town grounded in connection, awareness, and everyday responsibility.
