Join guest speaker Pastor Anne Miranda as she takes us through the transformation that happens when people are sitting at the table with Jesus.

Pastor Jon continues discussing the spiritual gifts with healing, words of knowledge, and words of wisdom. He explains each gift, and walks through key connections in scripture.

In week 7 of our God’s Promises series, Pastor Robin unpacks God’s specific promise to protect us from the enemy—and reminds us that spiritual conflict is very real. With over 300 references to spiritual warfare in Scripture, we’re not left unprepared. Pastor Robin walks us through what it means to stand firm, armor up, and pray. This home is temporary, our time on earth is limited, and our assignment is clear: to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. If you’ve ever wrestled with church hurt, spiritual apathy, or wondered how to fight back against the enemy’s schemes—this message is for you. Key Scriptures: Ephesians 2:2 • Ephesians 6:10–18 • Luke 10:19 Speaker: Robin Djokoto Publication: July 27, 2025

Life is hard. Sometimes much harder than we ever expected. What is a Christian to do with that? Pastor Jon assures us that part of being a Christian is guaranteed difficulties, but through holy struggle great gains for the Kingdom are made. We are imitators of Christ, even in the pain and suffering he bore. We can rejoice that we are offered the Kingdom-building work of persecution & suffering as Christ did.

Who is Jesus—really? In a culture filled with podcasts, substacks, and spiritual trends claiming Jesus was just a great moral teacher, a prophet, or a divine spark within us, Apostle Paul confronts the exact same dangerous ideas in Colossians 1:15–23. In this message, Jon Thompson unpacks Paul’s counter-cultural defense of the real Jesus: fully God, fully human, Creator of the universe, and the ultimate reconciler of our souls. Discover why Jesus isn't just one path among many, He is the image of the invisible God, supreme over all creation, and the only one who conquers sin and death.

Have you ever thought about how the way you talk to someone shapes your relationship with them? Pastor Jon looks at Paul's prayer in for the Colossian church as an example of how we are to pray for others, but also how we are to be shaped in our relationship with others. Building on last week's grounding in the real, Biblical Jesus, we need to step forward into prayer for others as intercessors, desiring God's will enacted here on earth.

When you think about who Jesus was, what do you picture? The baby Jesus in the manger? The man on the cross? A nice man, but nothing more? As we start our study of the Book of Colossians, Pastor Jon is clear that we must be oriented to the true, biblical, living Christ Jesus if we are to walk faithfully with Christ in the next season prepared for Sanctus Church. Join us as we prepare ourselves for this year by deepening our walk with our Lord and Saviour, our rest and home, King Jesus.

What does daily worship actually look like when Sunday morning is over? In the final week of our Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Jon Thompson walks through Romans 12 to show us the foundation of a holy, everyday life. Throughout this summer, we have explored how our faith touches work, rest, food, technology, and relationships. Romans 12 brings it all together: in view of God’s immense mercy toward us, we are called to offer our whole lives back to Him as living sacrifices. True worship isn't confined to what happens on stage during musical worship. It’s lived out on Monday morning, Thursday night, and everywhere in between. When we surrender our minds, our time, and our relationships to Jesus, the Holy Spirit transforms us from the inside out. In this message, Pastor Jon unpacks how Romans 1–11 grounds us in God's unstoppable mercy before we are asked to act, what it truly means to be a "living sacrifice" in today's world and the practical contrast between the pattern of this world and a spirit-led life.

What happens when the life you're standing in looks nothing like the one you imagined? In Week 10 of our Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Joël St. John explores Matthew 16:13 -25 to unpack how our mental pictures can distort our identity and our relationships. Discover how surrendering our expectations to Jesus allows us to step out of our own fantasies, engage our actual lives, and experience the real hope of resurrection.

Have you ever tried to pray, only to find your mind wandering to your to-do list, an old argument, or everything else happening in your day? In today's episode, Angela Mason explores what it means to “pray continually” and how prayer can become more than a formal practice— it can become a constant awareness of God’s presence throughout our ordinary lives. As we learn to turn everyday moments into opportunities for prayer, we’re reminded that we don’t need perfect focus or perfect prayers to approach God. Through Jesus, the invitation is always open. Prayer keeps us connected to God, strengthens our faith when answers are delayed, and transforms the ordinary moments of life into opportunities to experience His presence. What does it look like for our families to become an act of worship to God? In Week 8 of our Ordinary Holy series, Lucas Prado explores God’s design for family and how, despite the brokenness we experience, Jesus invites us into restoration and a new family in Him. Through 1 John 2, we’re reminded that every generation has a role to play: knowing the Father, remaining rooted in His Word, and passing our faith on to the next generation. Whether you’re a child, parent, grandparent, married, single, or part of a family that feels broken, God invites you to know Him and make Him known. What are you reaching for when life feels out of your control? In Week 7 of our Ordinary Holy series, Rev. Joël St. John explores Isaiah 44 and challenges us to consider how easily we turn good gifts—especially technology—into things we rely on for security, identity, and purpose. This message reminds us that while the things we create can never save us, Jesus is the God who came near, carries us, and invites us to place every ordinary part of our lives under His lordship. Speaker: Rev. Joël St. John Publication: August 4, 2026

How do we cultivate deep, life-giving friendships in a world filled with shallow connections? What if the relationships we often overlook became one of God's primary ways of shaping our faith, strengthening our lives, and drawing others to Jesus? In Week 6 of our Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Robin Djokoto explores God's design for spiritual friendship and why authentic, Christ-centred community is more essential than ever. Through Scripture and practical encouragement, this message challenges us to move beyond digital connection, embrace meaningful relationships, and discover how friendship can become a powerful expression of discipleship, hospitality, and mission. Speaker: Robin Djokoto Publication: July 27, 2026

Have you ever rushed through a meal without giving it a second thought? What if something as ordinary as eating could become one of the most meaningful ways to experience God's presence? In Week 5 of our Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Angela Mason explores 1 Corinthians 10:31 and invites us to rediscover the table as a place of worship, gratitude, hospitality, and relationship. Through the example of Jesus, we learn that God meets us not only in extraordinary moments, but also in the everyday rhythms of sharing meals, caring for our bodies, and loving the people around us. Discover how slowing down, practicing gratitude, and welcoming others can transform even the simplest meal into an opportunity to glorify God. Speaker: Angela Mason Publication: July 20, 2026

Have you ever wondered whether your daily work has a deeper purpose? In this message from Week 4 of the Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Lucas Prado explores how God created work as a gift, calls His people to serve Him through their vocations, and transforms everyday tasks into acts of worship. Discover how your unique calling can glorify God, bless others, and turn even the most ordinary Monday into a sacred opportunity to join in His work. Speakers: Lucas Prado Publication: July 12, 2026

How can we honour God in the place where we spend so much of our time? What does it look like to follow Jesus in our workplaces, relationships, and everyday responsibilities? In Week 3 of our Ordinary Holy series, Pastor Emily James explores how our work can become an act of worship. Discover how serving wholeheartedly, living with integrity, and leading with humility can transform the way we approach our jobs and the people God has placed around us. This message will encourage you to see your workplace not just as a job, but as an opportunity to reflect the love and character of Jesus every day. Speakers: Emily James Publication: July 6, 2026
