The Magic of Marian Keyes

It is a HUGE day for the podcast... the girls are joined by Em's hero: Marian Keyes! A woman who needs little introduction, Marian is one of the most successful Irish novelists of all time. She released her debut novel, Watermelon, almost thirty years ago, after embarking on a journey of recovery from alcoholism. She tells the girls how becoming sober helped give her the sense of hope she needed to start writing a novel. She also discusses families, life, and the menopause in this fascinating interview. They say don't meet your heroes, but Em is overjoyed that she did! You can buy any of Marian's books from her website here: https://www.mariankeyes.com/books/ And listen to her podcast, Now You're Asking , with Tara Flynn Follow us on Instagram @shouldideletethat Email us at shouldideletethatpod@gmail.com Edited by Daisy Grant Music by Alex Andrew Hosted on Acast.
