The God Who Depends On No One

“Most people—even Christians—live like God needs something from them. Like He’s waiting on their obedience, their worship, their effort… to somehow complete Him. But the Bible presents a God who needs absolutely nothing. A God who is not served by human hands… because He Himself gives life and breath and everything. That doctrine is called aseity. And if you don’t understand it—you will build your entire Christian life on a man-centered foundation.” #doctrine #bible #music
