About this episode

Too much bullsh*t has been projected within spirituality. The belief that affirmations, rubbing crystals on our third eye, and taking plant medicine every week will heal us. No. This is an extreme form of extraction and privilege. Real healing is in the mud. It is where you are confronting the darkest parts of yourself and pushing through anyways. Shadow work is for the warriors. It is for those of us who hold strong spirits and understand the urgency of confronting the shadows and learning how to heal them. 🪶 My work here is not to sip mimosas in Puerto Rico on stolen land, consume plant medicines, and call it a retreat. No. My work here is to get us uncomfortable. It’s to look at what we’ve been running from. And through that process our spirits learn a deep level of humility, reverence, and integrity. We discover the medicine that we hold in our spirits and that of our ancestors.
