UNC Tar Heels gear up for their final preseason test against the Charlotte 49ers, with eyes on rebounding strength and backcourt chemistry. Can Michael Malone’s squad answer lingering questions ahead of the regular season—and will new faces like Maximo Adams and Sayon Keita step up in key roles?

The conversation focused on Carolina's offensive struggles against Indiana, the importance of exploiting size mismatches, and strategic experimentation in exhibition games. Key themes include Jarin Stevenson’s consistency, Terrence Brown’s fit in the backcourt, and the challenge posed by Charlotte’s impressive rebounding. As the team faces pressure to level up before games count, expectations are set for improved ball movement, defensive intensity, and deeper bench production. Can the Tar Heels build winning habits and impress fans before the real action tips off?
