Barbara Colby was a respected stage actress whose career was finally taking off in Hollywood when she landed a starring role on the sitcom Phyllis . Tragically, just weeks after filming her first episodes, she was murdered in Los Angeles in a case that remains unsolved nearly 50 years later. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Barbara Colby. Investigators struggled with solving Barbara's murder, in large part, because they could not find a motive. On July 24, 1975, after teaching an acting class in Los Angeles, Barbara was talking with fellow actor James Kiernan in a parking lot when two armed men approached and shot and killed them both.
